Lebanese University

The Lebanese University won ten medals (half of them gold) at the end of the second and final stage of the Universities Athletics Championship, which took place at the Sports Complex in Hadath and the AUB.

 

The Lebanese University champions won second place in the overall standings (54 points) and the female champions won third place (42 points), winning three gold medals and two silver medals in the second stage.

 

The most notable victories were achieved by Serena Hayek, who won gold in the 800m and 3,000m, and Kevin Arton, who won gold in the long jump (6.18m) and silver in the 200m race. Ammar Hamoud, Hussein Souli and Jimmy Jaaj contributed to the silver medal in the 4x400m relay.
