Students from the Lebanese University won three gold medals and one bronze medal in individual events at the Lebanese Athletics Championships held at the Camille Chamoun Sports City track.
Student Serena Hayek (FLHS) won the 800m and 1500m double, recording a time of 2:25.66 in the first race and 5:03.28 in the second.
Student Ammar Hammoud (FPE) won the 110m hurdles and came third in the 400m hurdles.
Student Kevin Artoun (FPE) came fourth in the 100m race (11.09 seconds).
The head of the sports department, Mr. Ahmad Hazer, and the activities manager for Branch 1, Mr. Saleh Zeaiter, accompanied the participants representing the Lebanese University.
